Process Design Principles

1. The workpiece must meet the use and technical performance, and be easy to assemble and repair.

2. It must be beneficial to improve the utilization rate of metal materials, reduce the variety and specifications of materials, and reduce the consumption of materials as much as possible. Use low-cost materials when permitted, and make the parts as waste-free and waste-less as possible.

3. 5. Existing equipment, process equipment and process flow should be used as much as possible to carry out it, and it is conducive to the extension of the service life of the die.

Determine the Process Plan

The calculation of main process parameters is to find out the characteristics and difficulties of process and die design based on the analysis of a&i metal stamping processability, and propose various possible stamping process plans according to the actual situation, including the nature of the process, the number of processes, the sequence of processes and combination methods.

Sometimes there may be multiple feasible vulcan metal stamping process schemes for the same stamping part. Generally, each scheme has its own advantages and disadvantages. Comprehensive analysis and comparison should be carried out in terms of quality, efficiency, equipment occupancy, difficulty of mold manufacturing, and safety to determine the best scheme suitable for existing conditions.

Choosing Stamping Equipment

According to the nature of the stamping process to be completed and the power characteristics of various stamping die components equipment, consider the major factors such as the required deformation force, deformation work, and the size of the mold closing height and outline size required for stamping, and make a reasonable selection based on the equipment type of the metal stamping parts manufacturer.

Commonly used stamping die components equipment includes crank presses and hydraulic presses, among which crank presses are the most widely used. The punching process is mostly carried out on a crank press, and hydraulic press is generally not used, while the forming process can be carried out on a crank press or a hydraulic press.
