Advantages and Disadvantages of Stamping

Moreover, secondary costs such as cleaning and electroplating are also cheaper than similar treatments in other metal manufacturing processes. The main disadvantages of stamping technology are the high cost of presses and the design and acquisition of molds. Obtaining a mold or designing and manufacturing a mold requires a higher cost. As the number of uses increases, the cost of each template will be reduced. However, it should be noted that the production of customized sheet metal stamping parts is a long pre-production process. If the design needs to be changed during the production process, and the mold is difficult to change, this means that all the previously invested costs are wasted.
